IMPORTANCE OF EXERCISE

When I was a student, I had two friends. One was very fat, while the other was thin. The fat friend was lazy because he used to reduce participation in sports due to difficulty in movement. He also participated less in sports activities.

Gradually, due to reduced physical activity, the fat friend developed diabetes. The doctor advised him to exercise daily and participate in various sports activities. The friend started losing weight, laziness disappeared, and diabetes was controlled. He began exercising regularly.

There is no alternative to exercise to maintain physical and mental health. Exercise keeps the heart healthy and helps to reduce blood pressure.

 

1. Exercise controls weight: If you exercise regularly, you will lose weight. It helps in burning excess fat and controls appetite.

 

2.Improves mood: Exercise releases endorphins and neurotransmitters which increase the feeling of happiness, and reduce stress, anxiety, and depression.

 

3.Increases energy levels: Regular exercise improves endurance, mental strength, or morale, reduces fatigue, and increases productivity.

 

4.Strengthens muscles and bones: Regular exercise helps increase density and reduces the risk of osteoporosis and bone fractures.

 

5.Improves sleep quality: Sleep is a key factor in human well-being. Those who suffer from insomnia can regulate their sleep by exercising regularly.

 

6.Brain: Regular exercise helps supply oxygen to the brain, increases memory power through blood flow, and improves cognitive performance.

 

7. Reduces the risk of chronic diseases: Regular physical activity reduces the risk of developing chronic conditions such as type 2 diabetes, certain cancers, and strokes.

 

Increases longevity: Research has shown that regular exercise is associated with longer and healthier life spans.

Overall, exercise regularly for optimal health and well-being.
